• We miss this show 🙁
• Fuel costs are sky rocketing and seem to be no end in sight
• The weather could be hotter than heck or torrential rain, either can have a significant impact on whether people are able to attend on a particular weekend
• The unknowns…cause that seems to be the only thing that is constant 🙂

All reasons why this show is both back on the table for next year – 2023 – and getting a revamp in how I can offer it so that everyone can participate if they want.

I’ve decided on what I’m calling a blended show.

Details are randomly coming together in my mind, but will look something like this:

• A variety of pattern classes, scheduled on a monthly basis, spread out over a few months
  • Obstacle / trail
  • Liberty, online and bridleless riding
  • Ranch class
  • Horsemanship / Equitation
• For the obstacle classes, I will be setting up obstacles at my place where you can come and complete your patterns OR you can also set them up at your place or at a friends. The obstacles used will be ones that most people have access to or can get together with some friends who may have some already.
• Patterns can be done in a small riding ring, or in a field or pasture.
• I’ll provide detailed instructions of what is needed, what the measurements/distances are, and where the camera-person must stand to record the video from the Judge’s perspective.

My thought process is that each month will be a different activity, which will give everyone LOTS of time to practice and prepare.

The blended part might be that you get together with a bunch of your friends and rally support for each other, or that you come to my place and hit record for your patterns.

This will also allow me to hire different judges depending on the class type – and maybe even opening up for something that they too can participate in.

I know that in the last 2 years there has already been the notion of virtual shows, and they seemed to have dwindled off, but in the liberty and agility horse shows, they are still going strong.
